Brenda Limón

Brenda Limón is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant father and a second generation Chicana mother. She was born in Tucson and raised in Barrio Hollywood, a Tucson neighborhood rich in culture, civic influence, and Tucson heritage. Barrio Hollywood is nestled between I-10 and Tucson’s St. Mary’s; Speedway; North Silverbell roads.

Brenda attended Tucson’s Davis Bilingual Learning Center, Roskruge Bilingual Magnet Middle School and Tucson High Magnet School and received her AA degree in Telecommunications from Pima Community College.

Brenda’s interest in video, social and political issues and creative expression brought her to Pan Left Productions in 2006 where she uses her passions and talents to influence and support several projects. Tucson Grassroots Campaigns is Brenda’s first full length feature documentary
