Mary Charlotte Thurtle

Mary Charlotte Thurtle has been a Pan Left member since 2000, during which time she has focused on documentaries about women and girls whose stories don’t get told in the mainstream media. She co-produced with Daniela Ontiveros The Heart and the Monster: A Journey to Cananea and produced Quince Años, a day in the life of Latinas on the 15th birthday, which was shown at the Arizona International Film Festival in 2005. Currently, she is co-producing Under Arpaio, directed by J.M. Aragón. 

Mary Charlotte has a degree in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Organizational Studies from Prescott College. She is the Executive Director of Pan Left. A sample reel can be found here.
